StoneCircle is a safety-first platform designed to empower individuals and communities to protect one another. Whether you're sharing a public update via Moments! or engaging with others through Chats, we expect every user to uphold standards that foster trust, safety, and respect.
These Community Guidelines apply to all features of the platform and are intended to ensure a secure and responsible environment for all users.
Moments! — Sharing Safety Incidents and Alerts
Moments! is for posting verified safety incidents and real-time alerts relevant to your immediate surroundings. It is not a platform for entertainment, satire, or misinformation.
1. Share Relevant and Accurate Content
Only post real-time or recent incidents that impact your community. Examples of acceptable content include:
- Fire outbreaks or electrical hazards
- Ongoing robbery or burglary
- Alerts about missing persons
- Suspicious behavior or security concerns
Do not post:
- Old or recycled videos
- Satirical or exaggerated content
- Pranks, hoaxes, or dramatizations
2. Prohibit Sexual or Inappropriate Content
Content containing nudity, sexually suggestive material, or adult themes is strictly prohibited. This includes images, gestures, or commentary that are inappropriate for a general audience.
3. Zero Tolerance for Hate or Violence
StoneCircle does not permit content that incites violence, promotes hate groups, or targets individuals or communities based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexuality, nationality, or disability.
4. Protect the Privacy of Others
Avoid sharing identifiable details without consent, including:
- Faces of individuals in distress
- Home addresses or vehicle license plates
- Content that compromises someone’s safety or dignity
5. Avoid Misinformation and Panic
Do not publish false reports, misleading claims, or content designed to create unnecessary panic within the community.
Chats — Messaging Individuals and Circles
Chats enable users to communicate directly or within groups. These interactions must remain respectful and constructive.
6. Communicate Respectfully
All communication must remain civil and harassment-free. The following are strictly prohibited:
- Insults, slurs, or discriminatory language
- Threats, intimidation, or bullying
- Repeated unwanted messages
7. No Spam, Scams, or Unauthorized Promotions
Chats may not be used to:
- Promote products or services unrelated to StoneCircle’s mission
- Share phishing links or malicious files
8. Do Not Spread Misinformation
All messages should reflect verified facts, especially regarding safety-related topics. Sharing unverified rumors, health misinformation, or community-wide false claims is prohibited.
Content Moderation and Reporting
StoneCircle uses a combination of automated systems, human moderation, and community reporting tools to enforce these guidelines.
Users can:
- Report content on Moments! via the "Report" button
All reports are confidential and reviewed promptly. StoneCircle reserves the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these policies.
Enforcement and Consequences
Violations of these guidelines may result in the following actions:
- Content removal
- Temporary account suspension
- Permanent account termination in cases of severe or repeated violations
There is zero tolerance for harmful, abusive, or illegal behavior on the platform.
User Agreement
By using StoneCircle, you agree to abide by these Community Guidelines and our Terms of Service. Failure to comply may lead to restrictions on your ability to use the app or removal from the platform entirely.
