Firm Unveils App to Boost Estate Dues Collection, Community Security

A Nigerian technology company, Limestone, has launched StoneCircle, a mobile safety and community management app designed to improve estate dues collection, enhance security, and strengthen emergency response systems across the country.

The company’s Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Ifeanyi Aneke, announced this during the official launch in Lagos on Wednesday.

Aneke said the platform was developed to tackle Nigeria’s growing safety concerns by enabling individuals and communities to send instant panic alerts, share live locations, and coordinate real-time emergency responses among family, neighbours, and security personnel.

He added that StoneCircle also supports estate residents in managing their communities — allowing digital payment of dues, access code management, and complaint logging on a single interface.

“Pilot tests in selected estates processed over ₦27 million in transactions, achieving a 95% success rate and an average emergency response time of three seconds,” Aneke revealed.

A former Microsoft technology specialist, Aneke said Limestone was founded three years ago to bridge operational gaps in real estate and community management.

He said the company had since expanded its ecosystem to include StoneCircle, Stone Community, and Stone Security, forming a unified platform that integrates personal safety, estate administration, and institutional protection.

Aneke also disclosed plans to introduce a wearable panic keychain that allows users to trigger distress alerts hands-free when phones are inaccessible.

He assured users of strong data privacy measures, noting that Limestone is licensed by the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC) and fully compliant with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA).

“All user data is encrypted in transit and at rest, while chats are end-to-end encrypted. Our systems also undergo independent third-party security testing,” he said.
